Electronic Playground

Internet is the cheapest, fastest way to get pornography into an open market that is why it is considered the electronic playground. Internet expand increasing prominence in the lives of young people, a particular interest is exposure to sexual material. Young people exposure to pornography is a controversial issue about the contribution of pornography to deviant sexual behavior, including sexual assault, negative attitudes towards women and the acceptance of unusual or aggressive sexual behavior among peers. Before the Internet, pornography was found in magazines behind the store counters, on TV channels and movies, with the advent of Internet has escalated the problem of young people pornography by increasing the amount of material available, the efficiency of its distribution, and the ease of its accessibility. Specifically, the Internet permits access to vast quantities of pornographic images from around the world, makes pornography instantly available at any time or place, allows pornography to be accessed (apparently) anonymously and privately, facilitates direct communication and image sharing among users and delivers pornography relatively inexpensively.
Sexual attraction to among young people is known as pedophilia. However, an interest of Internet by the young people to access pornography may be best thought of as falling along a scale rather than in terms of a hard and fast distinction between pedophiles and non-pedophiles. People can behave very differently on the Internet than they do in other areas of their lives. Interacting anonymously with a computer in the safety of one's own home encourages people to express hidden feelings, desires and the level of severity of the pornographic image to which they are attracted.
Internet pornography is unlike most crimes local police departments handle. Local citizens may access child pornography images that were produced or stored in another city or on another continent or they may produce and distribute images that are downloaded by people thousands of miles away. Many countries are now banding together to tackle young people pornography on the Internet. For example, the European Commission drew up the document titled, Creating a safer information society by improving the security of information infrastructures and combating computer crime. This document aims to give countries in the European Union the same legal power to fight child pornography on the Internet."

Effect of Pornography and Sexual Attitude by Young People
"Whether pornography is legally classified as obscene or indecent, all pornography is harmful to young people. Pornography reduces young people to sexual commodities that can be bought, sold, used and discarded. No one is immune to the mental, emotional, spiritual and even physical consequences of viewing pornographic material. These effects are not confined to the individuals viewing pornography; they extend to families and culture as well.
These are the effects of young people exposed to pornography:
' Having sex earlier
' Emotional trauma
' Antagonism toward being married or having a family
' Desiring and pursuing sex apart from emotional attachments
' Higher risk for sexual compulsions and addictions

' Believing that deviant sex practices, such as group sex, bestiality or sadomasochistic activity, are actually common."

Ethical Issues
"Pornography, which is a moral crime in most societies, has started to attract with internet surfers from all over the world, Internet brings great benefits, but also great risks to young people. Among the worst forms of harrassment is the global trade in internet pornography among young people."
1. Sexual Harassment
"Young people are getting inspired by what adults or parent does. In addition, it's good if parents show interest and ask their children to show them which sites they like to visit. But it's usually not a good idea to forbid them from visiting certain websites they should instead teach them how to act when they are there. sex Harassment defined computer statutes is typically distinct from cyber bullying, in that the former usually relates to a person's use a computer or computer network to communicate obscene, vulgar, profane, lewd, lascivious, or indecent language, or make any suggestion or proposal of an obscene nature, or threaten any illegal or immoral act, while the latter need not involve anything of a sexual nature. Often it is confusing wondering why harassment occurs over the internet. The fact of the matter is that bullying over the internet pornography may occur for no reason."
2. Social Media
"Social media sites which provide young people with opportunities to stay connected with friends and family and develop technical and creative skills. These sites can lead to connection to a more diverse group of people through international links on the internet, providing a greater understanding of global issues. Social media can affect the mental health of young people. Many young people are influenced by the powerful advertising they see on social media sites and it strongly influences their buying habits. Many of them are not aware that they are individually targeted because the sites keep track of their habits and demographics. These young people and their parents need to be aware of how they are targeted so smarter choices can be made around their spending habits (Clark-Pearson, O'Keeffe, 2011)."
3. Online Molestation
"The Internet initiated sex crimes that are romances from the perspective of young people typically take place in isolation and secrecy, outside of oversight by peers, family members, and others in the youths' face-to-face social networks. This isolation may lead to relationships that form more quickly, involve greater self-disclosure, and develop with greater intensity than face-to-face relationships among peers (McKenna, Green, & Gleason, 2002). Second, a considerable portion of victims are in early and mid-adolescence. Few young people of those ages have the mature judgment and emotional self regulation required to engage in healthy relationships that include sexual intimacy. However, young people send personal information ( name, telephone number, pictures) to unknown people or talk online to such people about sex are more likely to receive aggressive sexual solicitations those that involve actual or attempted offline contact."

Social Issues
"New media services resulting from the growth of the internet pornography offer new opportunities for young people entertainment and education, but they also raise questions of young people safety on the internet and mobile phones through potential contact from undesirable people. displaying of compromising images of young people. This is a particular area of concern. The developmental immaturity of some young people means they may engage in transmitting images of themselves of a sexual nature without due consideration about how widely that material may be disseminated. In other circumstances images of a sexual nature may be transmitted specifically to cause distress. Those with identified mental health problems, especially if they have low self esteem and are seeking acceptance within a peer group may be particularly vulnerable in this regard, both in terms of engaging in sending images, and from the impact of distress where the images are then used inappropriately."
1. Sexting
" Increasing practice in which young people use cell phone messaging to send nude or semi-nude images of themselves to friends, classmate and dating partners. These may be passed along to others or be posted on the Internet. Due to sexting by minors, some young people have been charged with possessing and distributing pornography, potentially controversial uses of existing young people pornography laws. In Florida cyber crimes defense attorney David S. Seltzer wrote that "do not believe that our young people pornography laws were designed for these situations. A conviction for possession of young people pornography in Florida draws up to five years in prison for each picture or video, plus a lifelong requirement to register as a sex offender."

2. Masturbation
"The entire the types of sexual acting masturbation is one of the most secret and isolative. The young man or a young woman who masturbates with or without the use of porn is often the last to seek help, often not seeing or understanding their behavior as problematic. Their hidden behavior is often related to past trauma, familial societal, and religious shame associated with the sex act and intimacy. Many young people beliefs about masturbation are the act itself is: dirty, shameful, and sinful. While most young sex addicts actively seek treatment when they pushed by some obvious external consequence of the legal, occupational, health, and relational type, the solitary nature of the compulsive masturbator's behavior leaves his or her actions less subject to the direct consequences of other forms of sexual acting out. The young sex addict engaging in compulsive masturbation more often seeks help for anxiety, obsession, isolation, and the inability to seek or maintain healthy intimate relationships. Some masturbators do experience consequences through the viewing of inappropriate materials like young people pornography, through masturbating in inappropriate places e.g., the workplace or an automobile, due to self injury. However, the most frequent consequence of compulsive masturbation is a life devoid of intimacy, removed from feeling, and filled with hidden shame. "
3. Sexual Explicit Material
"Sexual Explicit Materials was broadly defined as media portraying images of exposed genitals and depictions of sexual behaviors that are intended to increase sexual arousal (Carroll et al., 2008; Malamuth and Impett, 2001; Peter and Valkenburg, 2007). Young people are privy to SEM through a variety of genres, including but not limited to magazines, books and videos. Internet is the most popular and diverse medium for viewing SEMs (Buzzell, 2005; Fisher and Barak, 2001; Peter and Valkenburg, 2006), which has, in part, been influenced by the accessibility, affordability and anonymity provided to its users (Cooper, 1998). Indeed, sexual attitudes and behaviors among young people populations has focused exclusively on Internet based exposure (Braun-Courville and Rojas, 2009; Peter and Valkenburg, 2009). Despite the current general preference among young people for Internet based SEM, young people are using offline SEM e.g. books, magazine, movies and phone sex hotlines at similar rates to online SEM."

Legal Issues
"While computer generated images of pornography among young people are repugnant, they do not involve real and there is no demonstrated basis to link such images with harm to real children. Where a young people has been subjected to cyber bullying, the dissemination of the act of bullying through media can also exacerbate the mental health impact on that person, leading, for example, to a worsening of depression or anxiety. There have been instances where the level of distress caused by cyber bullying has contributed to increased suicidal thinking and potentially to completion of suicide."
1. Child abuse
"Internet and its related technology is transforming many domains of social life, it believe that it will have an effect on young people maltreatment. Thus, the predominant concern about Internet pornography and young people maltreatment has involved online meeting crimes in which, stereotypically, adult strangers have used the Internet to meet and develop abusive relationships with young people. Countries like Australia and Saudi Arabia also have laws prohibiting production and distribution of young people pornography and also place restrictions upon the possession of such materials. Spread of the internet enables easy and often private access to young people providing increased opportunities for the solicitation of young people to commit abusive acts. Particular concern is the increased opportunities for the sexual exploitation of young people and increased access to offensive material through the internet media. The internet also facilitates the activities of young people by providing a simple and quick means of communication which allows the young people to remain anonymous and create false identities."

2. Legal Right
"Internet is one that gradually growing pornography among young people in both international and community, and it seriously threatens society. In United State internet pornography among young people is a serious crime, and convicted offenders face severe statutory penalties. Any naked picture constitutes illegal child pornography and it is sufficiently sexually suggestive. There is law stated that":
"Computer generated young people pornography results in many of the same types of harm, and poses the same danger to the well being of young people, as photographic pornography among young people, and provide a compelling governmental interest for prohibiting the production, distribution, possessing, sale or viewing of all forms of illegal pornography, including computer generated depictions which are appear to be of young people engaging in sexually explicit conduct."
3. Cyber Bullying
"Widespread adoption of internet technologies has enabled the migration of cyber bullying behavior of young people and its systematic abuse of power through unjustified and repeated acts intended to hurt or inflict some form of harm to the young people. The internet cyberbullying impact can be direct (physical and verbal teasing) or indirect (relational, such as social exclusion and spreading nasty rumors). Cyber bullying is increasingly a problem for young people and their educators, especially given the heightened use of new technologies which permits easy and wide distribution of communication. Cyberbullying takes on various forms, including using emails, instant messaging, and text messages to send harassing and threatening messages, online posting such messages in chat rooms, electronic distribution of embarrassing pictures and videos and on other social networking websites. "

Professional Issue
"The access to internet, mobile phones and social media websites has resulted in an increase in the number of young people continuing to be terrorize and led to a reduction in the number of places in which a young person experiencing harassment feels safe, and can lead to a significant increase in the level of distress they experience. Additionally, the rapid sharing of inappropriate information through websites can significantly enhance the distress."
1. Cyber Crime
"With the accessibility of internet pornography among young people are committing Cybercrime, cybercrime refers to any crime that involves a computer and a network. The computer may have been used in the commission of a crime, or it may be the target. Dr. Debarati Halder and Dr. K. Jaishankar (2011) defines Cybercrimes as: "Offences that are committed against individuals or groups of individuals with a criminal motive to intentionally harm the reputation of the victim or cause physical or mental harm to the victim directly or indirectly, using modern telecommunication networks such as Internet (Chat rooms, emails, notice boards and groups) and mobile phones (SMS/MMS)". Such crimes among young people may threaten security and financial health. Issues surrounding these types of crimes have become high-profile, particularly those surrounding cracking, copyright infringement, child pornography, and child grooming. There are also problems of privacy when confidential information is lost or intercepted, lawfully or otherwise."
2. Computer Terrorism
"In Internet pornography problems there is a growing concern among young people that such intrusions are part of an organized effort by cyber terrorists, foreign intelligence services, or other groups to map potential security holes in critical systems. cyber terrorism committed through the use of cyberspace or computer resources (Parker 1983), such as, a simple propaganda in the Internet, that there will be bomb attacks during the holidays can be considered cyberterrorism as well there are also hacking activities directed towards individuals, families, organized by groups within networks, tending to cause fear among people, demonstrate power, collecting information relevant for ruining peoples' lives, robberies, blackmailing."
3. Virus scams
"When young people are accessing online Pornography the use to send virus, virus is actually used to describe a form of malware that use Trojan horses to infect computer system with potential vulnerabilities to block the computer OS and display a full-screen message in name of local authorities to scam on victim users. The fraudulent message usually claims that the computer is blocked or locked because it is involved in illegal online activities associated with collecting and distribution of pornography among young people, and to unlock the computer system, a fine is demanded to be paid. Scam can be hard to tell if an email or offer on a website is genuine or not. Something that sounds fantastic could be just an opportunity for someone unscrupulous to send you fake or poor quality goods that you've paid for at top quality prices or win something. The worst case scenario could mean that your credit card details are taken and your bank account is emptied."

Conclusion
"Now porn is available on the Internet and on every conceivable type of media that humans can conjure up. Is our cultural so entangled with the sex and its various of forms of permutation. pornography among young people has an effect on the viewers and on society at large consider the point above and is a blatant ignorance of the facts on the ground. How can someone say that these pornography have no effect much less a positive effect is beyond belief. A mere showing of these images does have an effect on the viewer for evidence of this why do you think television advertising is so successful. Advertising industry knows that sex sells products. Advertisers sell many products by using suggestive sexual overtones. The porn industry claims that if there was not a market for it we would not be in it. These charges are misleading, they know that they play on a human weakness. They play on and cultivate the darkest most carnal fantasies through the visual imagery
